Two Injured in Glassport Motor Vehicle Crash

Glassport, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction and Homicide Unit responded to a two-vehicle collision on the Mansfield Bridge in Glassport. The accident, involving a red Hyundai sedan and a black Honda SUV, occurred at 3:17 p.m. today and resulted in both drivers being hospitalized.

Upon arrival, first responders found that the vehicles had collided head-on. The driver of the Hyundai, an adult male, was critically injured and is currently listed in critical condition at a local hospital. The driver of the Honda, an adult female, sustained injuries but is in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation by the police suggests that the Hyundai was traveling the wrong way onto the bridge, leading to the collision with the Honda SUV. Detectives have initiated a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
