Four Injured in Separate Shootings Across Columbus

Columbus, OH – Early Sunday morning, four individuals were injured across three separate shootings in Columbus, prompting an investigation by the Columbus Division of Police.

The series of incidents began at 1:12 a.m. on the 100 block of East Long Street in downtown Columbus. Although initially no victims were found at the scene, a person later arrived at Ohio State East Hospital with a gunshot wound. Details regarding the victim’s condition have not been disclosed.

Shortly thereafter, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers were called to the 3000 block of Soldano Boulevard, where they discovered shell casings and damage to three storefronts from gunfire. Two individuals, found to have been shot at this location, sought treatment at nearby hospitals and are expected to recover.

The night’s violence continued past 1:45 a.m. with another shooting reported on the 1000 block of Zettler Road. One victim, found with gunshot injuries, was transported to Grant Medical Center, though their condition remains unspecified.

Authorities have yet to determine what provoked the shootings and are currently without suspects.
