Two Shot in Philadelphia’s Kensington Neighborhood, One Shot 8 Times

Philadelphia, PA – An investigation is underway after two individuals were found shot in West Kensington, according to police reports.

The incident occurred on the 100 block of Diamond Street just before 2 a.m. Sunday. Authorities discovered a 41-year-old man who had been shot eight times throughout his body.

He was promptly transported to Temple University Hospital by police and is currently listed in critical condition.

Additionally, a 19-year-old woman was found to have been shot three times in the right arm.

She has been listed in stable condition following the incident. As of now, police have not made any arrests nor have they recovered any weapons in connection with the shooting.
