Residents Duck for Cover as Bullets Strike Multiple Homes in Southeast D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A shocking outbreak of gunfire rattled the Hill East neighborhood in Southeast D.C. on Sunday night, with several homes hit by bullets, one of which penetrated a bedroom wall. The incident happened just before 11 p.m., leaving the community in distress but fortunately resulting in no reported injuries.

Residents were forced to seek safety within their homes as the sound of gunfire echoed through the area.

D.C. Police have yet to identify any suspects or describe any vehicles involved in the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the police at 202-727-9099 to assist in the investigation.
