HYATTSVILLE, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a tragic single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a resident. The incident occurred in the unincorporated area of Hyattsville, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Eloy Ramirez.
The accident took place on March 3, at around 7:30 pm, within the 6500 block of Landover Road. Responding officers found Ramirez unresponsive at the scene; he was declared dead shortly after that.
Initial findings suggest Ramirez was heading north on Landover Road when he lost control of his vehicle, leading to a collision with a tree.
