ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A serious accident occurred on Route 80 in Allamuchy Township around 9 p.m., when a Ford van carrying six individuals overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The van collided with the center median before coming to rest on its side, according to Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police.
Five of the passengers sustained minor injuries in the incident and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The crash is currently under investigation by the New Jersey State Police to determine its cause and any contributing factors.
