Man Injured in Bronx Shooting

BRONX, NY—The New York City Police Department is reaching out to the public to aid in the identification of a suspect involved in a recent assault. The incident occurred on March 13, in front of 1051 College Avenue, within the 44 Precinct’s region in the Bronx.

An unidentified male suspect reportedly discharged a firearm around 4:20 PM, injuring a 33-year-old man in the left leg. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in an unspecified direction. The victim was quickly transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he is currently in stable condition.

Authorities describe the suspect as a dark-complexioned male, aged 30-40, around 5’8″ tall, and weighing between 160-170 pounds. His attire at the time included a black face mask, a dark multicolored jacket, and light pants. The NYPD urges anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
