NEW YORK CITY, NY — The New York City Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a man involved in a public lewdness event that occurred on a subway train within the area of the 33rd Precinct/Transit District 3.

NYPD Seeking Subway Flasher for Lewd Incident

On March 26, 2024, around noon, a 25-year-old woman reported witnessing an unidentified man who boarded the southbound ‘1’ train at the 168 Street station, exposed himself, and committed a lewd act. The victim left the train at 116 Street, while the perpetrator continued on the train to an unknown destination. No injuries were reported in connection to this incident.

The police are searching for a male suspect described as having a medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing approximately 165 pounds. The NYPD urges anyone with information about this individual or the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
