TOWSON, MD — A series of disturbances at a carnival in White Marsh prompted an early shutdown of the event on Saturday evening. Baltimore County Police Officers from the White Marsh Precinct intervened after being called by security and off-duty officers on-site at the White Marsh Mall.
“Baltimore County Police Officers from the White Marsh Precinct handled several incidents at a carnival in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Blvd,.21236. The carnival was staffed with security and off-duty officers who requested assistance due to multiple disturbances. The carnival staff closed the event early as a result,” the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
The carnival, located in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Blvd, witnessed multiple disruptions leading to the arrest of four juveniles—three in connection with the disturbances and one related to an unrelated theft. Although there were reports of gunfire, police have not confirmed these claims. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
In 2019, two dozen people were arrested and the carnival was shutdown also.
