Authorities Release Footage of Suspect in Recent D.C. Business Burglaries

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fourth District is actively seeking a suspect linked to the burglaries of two Northwest businesses.

The first incident took place on Thursday, April 4, at around 10:53 PM, when the suspect forcibly entered a business located on the 3800 block of 14th Street, Northwest, and stole money before fleeing. The second burglary occurred on Saturday, April 6, at approximately 9:12 PM, with the suspect again forcibly entering an establishment, this time on the 3100 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, from which they stole property and subsequently fled the scene.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspect has been released to aid in their identification and capture.

The public is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411 if they have any information regarding these incidents or the suspect’s identity. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for these crimes.
