WASHINGTON, D.C. – A shooting incident on Benning Road in Northwest D.C. resulted in one man being hospitalized with gunshot injuries late last night.
Police responded to the scene in the 1800 block of Benning Road around 10:35 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The investigation has revealed that two armed suspects, believed to be operating a moped, are being sought in connection with the shooting.
