A suspect in an Easton, Pennsylvania shooting was arrested this week by US Marshals, confirmed by local authorities.
Tamir Freeman was arrested in Newark, New Jersey, and is being temporarily detained at the Essex County jail as he waits for extradition to Pennsylvania, as stated by the Easton police.
Investigators believe that Freeman was the individual responsible for a shooting incident on Northampton Street on December 11 that resulted in a 30-year-old man being hospitalized. During the occurrence, two establishments and a parked vehicle were also damaged by gunfire, according to police reports.
Freeman, aged 23, faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and additional related offenses, police sources added.
