WASHINGTON, DC – D.C. Metro Police’s Sixth District detectives have arrested two individuals, 16-year-old Leonard Myles of Southeast, charged as an adult, and 18-year-old Saivon Davis of no fixed address, for armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday in Southeast Washington. Both incidents involved the suspects displaying handguns and forcibly taking property from the victims.
The first robbery took place around 11:15 a.m. in the Unit block of 49th Street, and the second occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of B Street. Shortly after the B Street robbery, Prince George’s County officers apprehended two of the four suspects when they abandoned a stolen vehicle containing evidence linked to the robberies and a handgun.
In addition to the robberies, Myles and Davis are charged with Carrying a Pistol Without a License. Detectives have linked the suspects to multiple other robberies in a nearby Maryland jurisdiction.
