Violent Confrontation in D.C. Store Leads to Search for Bicycle-Riding Suspect

WASHINGTON, DC—Police are searching for a suspect involved in a knife assault in Southeast D.C. On Sunday evening, a suspect assaulted an employee with a knife following an argument in a store located at the 3800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. The incident, which left the employee with a minor laceration, occurred around 8:05 p.m.

The suspect initially left the scene on a bicycle but returned shortly after to confront the employee again. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, who is now sought by the D.C. Metro Police Department.
