Moose Bag Found During Virginia Crash Stuffed With Drugs, Fentanyl

Stafford, VA – A single-vehicle auto accident occurred on Friday afternoon on Widewater Road and Arkendale Road, where a Dodge Avenger veered off the road and partially into a ditch. Sheriff’s Deputy G.P. McCaulley responded, discovering a stuffed moose bag filled with suspected controlled substances inside the vehicle.

The driver, found uninjured at the scene, confirmed the substances were fentanyl.

Following the incident, the driver was charged with possession of controlled substances and transported to Rappahannock Regional Jail, where she was held on a $1,000 secured bond.
