Fugitive Wanted in New Jersey Captured by Police in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA — Ryan Graham of Wilkes-Barre was arrested as a fugitive from justice following an incident on Friday morning.

Wilkes-Barre City Police responded to a call at 36 South Washington Street after a report of an unknown male inside a caller’s vehicle.

Upon police arrival, at approximately 9:13 AM, the suspect had fled the scene but was soon located nearby. During the investigation, authorities discovered that Graham had an active arrest warrant out of Camden County, New Jersey.

He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to city headquarters for arraignment.

Further details about the nature of the warrant and the charges Graham faces in New Jersey have not been disclosed. The Wilkes-Barre City Police have successfully coordinated with New Jersey authorities regarding Graham’s extradition.
