Subway Flower Peddler Attacks Man Inside Train Station

NEW YORK, NY — An attempted robbery occurred early Saturday morning in front of 97-23 Alstyne Avenue. At approximately 5:40 AM, a 49-year-old male was approached by a young man offering flowers for sale.

During the transaction, the assailant attempted to steal the victim’s wallet and aimed a punch at his face before fleeing the scene.

Subway Flower Peddler Attacks Man Inside Train Station

The suspect is described as a dark-complexioned male, aged between 18 and 20, with a thin build and about 5 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, black pants, red and black Jordan sneakers, a black face mask, and carrying flowers.

The victim declined medical treatment at the scene.
