WASHINGTON, DC – The D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Northwest Washington. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 25, around 10:15 p.m. at a business on the 2700 block of 14th Street.
According to reports, the suspect entered the establishment, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. After obtaining cash, the individual fled the scene. The robbery was captured on surveillance footage.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect to avoid confrontation and contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
