Delaware State Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Seaford

SEAFORD, DE — A shooting incident in Seaford is currently under investigation by the Delaware State Police following an attack on a residential home that left a teenager injured.

The incident occurred on the evening of May 29, 2024, around 6:21 p.m., when troopers were called to a home on the 26000 block of Kelly Circle. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that two unidentified suspects had fired several rounds at the house while it was occupied.

A 15-year-old girl sustained a gunshot wound to her foot during the shooting and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the incident.

The investigation is being led by detectives from Troop 4 Criminal Investigations. The Delaware State Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects involved to come forward. Witnesses or those with relevant information can contact Detective W.
