Dover Home Struck by Multiple Rounds of Gunfire

DOVER, DE – Delaware State Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday in a residential area of Dover.

The incident was reported on May 28, 2024, at approximately 5:08 p.m., at a home on North Governor’s Boulevard. According to the initial investigation, the residence was struck by multiple rounds of gunfire during the early morning hours. Authorities recovered several shell casings at the scene.

At the time of the shooting, two adults and three children were inside the house. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The reason behind the shooting is still unknown, and as of now, no suspect description has been provided.

The Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is diligently working on the case and appeals to the public for any information related to the shooting.
