Police Confirm Dog Killed During Shootout in Clairton Incident

CLAIRTON, PA – A violent exchange of gunfire in Clairton has tragically resulted in the death of a dog, confirmed by the Allegheny County Police Department. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Marion Circle around 4:08 pm, where first responders discovered an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The injured individual was promptly transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. According to the initial investigation, the shooting involved a total of three adult males, all of whom are now accounted for by the authorities. The shootout not only led to human casualties but also the unfortunate death of a dog caught in the crossfire.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
