BALTIMORE, MD—A homicide investigation is underway in Baltimore’s Western District following a fatal shooting last evening. A 47-year-old man was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred on July 6, 2024, around 8:22 PM. Baltimore Police officers were called to the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue after reports of gunfire. They found the victim in the 1400 block of Traction Street, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case and are appealing to the public for any information related to the shooting. Anyone with knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact the detectives at 410-396-2100.
