Arrest Made in String of Lululemon Thefts in D.C.

Washington, D.C. – Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with multiple thefts from Lululemon stores in Northwest, D.C.

Early Friday morning, Third District nightlife officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description of one involved in several retail thefts. During the stop, the officers identified the driver as 23-year-old Avante Demarco Greene of Northwest, who matched the description of a suspect in the thefts.

Greene has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Theft One on Wednesday, July 10, in the 1000 block of F Street, Northwest
  • Theft One on Friday, July 12, in the 3200 block of M Street, Northwest
  • Theft One on Tuesday, July 16, in the 1000 block of F Street, Northwest

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
