Arrests Made Following Gunpoint Robbery at Bensalem 7-11

by Breaking Local News Report

BENSALEM, PA — Early Saturday, Bensalem Police swiftly responded to a gunpoint robbery at a 7-11 on Lincoln Highway in Trevose. At approximately 2:50 AM, a man allegedly threatened the store clerk with a concealed weapon and demanded cash and cigarettes. Surveillance footage later revealed the suspect fleeing in a silver-blue Chevrolet Malibu.

Utilizing advanced surveillance technology, officers traced the vehicle heading south into Philadelphia. A traffic stop was initiated around 4:50 AM near a local Wawa, where Amanda Petherbridge, 34, and Christopher Yelverton, 42, both of no fixed address, were detained. Although Yelverton did not match his earlier attire, items found in the vehicle connected them to the crime.
