Stamford Police Arrest Bridgeport Man in Sex Trafficking Investigation

STAMFORD, CT – The Stamford Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit has arrested a Bridgeport man in connection with an ongoing sex trafficking investigation at a Stamford hotel. Sean Lewis, 45, was taken into custody on August 28 after detectives obtained an arrest warrant and executed a search of his Bridgeport residence.

Lewis faces multiple charges, including Trafficking of Persons, Unlawful Restraint in the 2nd Degree, Promoting Prostitution in the 1st and 2nd Degrees, Assault in the 2nd and 3rd Degrees, and Illegal Use of a Payment Card. The arrest was carried out with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department, and Lewis was taken into custody without incident.
