Firefighters in Bergen County rushed to the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, October 5, where they freed an unconscious driver trapped in one of the vehicles.

The crash, which occurred around 6 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Williams Avenue, involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee and another SUV. Hasbrouck Heights firefighters quickly arrived, stabilized the vehicles, and extricated the unconscious driver from the wreckage.
