Incident Reports Including DUI and Public Intoxication in Stafford County

Stafford, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released details regarding incidents that occurred on Wednesday, emphasizing three separate occurrences of law violation.

The first incident involved breaking and entering on King Street. At 5:37 p.m., Deputy I.E. Baldi responded to the report where the victim found her property unlawfully entered and a sweatshirt missing.

A DUI incident was reported at 12:30 p.m. at a 7-Eleven on Garrisonville Road. Deputies J.L. Jones and S.M. Eastman attended calls about a potentially drunk driver who had fallen asleep at a green light. Upon finding the driver asleep at the wheel in the parking lot, deputies noticed clear signs of intoxication. The driver himself admitted to drinking and believed he was safe from arrest on private property. However, he was charged with a blood alcohol content over .2 and detained at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.

The final incident involved public intoxication at 7:09 a.m. near Enterprise Rent A Car on Richmond Highway. Deputy J.L. Jones responded to several calls about an intoxicated shoeless man walking in traffic. After determining the
