by Breaking Local News Report

SALISBURY, Md. — A fire broke out early Sunday morning at a three-story apartment building on Adams Avenue in Salisbury, Wicomico County, causing minor damage but no injuries, officials said. The incident occurred at approximately 5:12 a.m. in the vestibule outside apartment doors on the second floor of the building, which is owned by Blue Hedge Rental.

The occupants of the affected apartment, identified as Joseph Barlow and Deborah Shockley, were unharmed. The fire caused an estimated $1,000 in damage—$500 to the structure and $500 to the contents inside.

The Salisbury Fire Department responded with six firefighters, but the fire was already extinguished by the time they arrived. Smoke alarms were present in the building but did not operate, and there were no fire alarms or sprinklers in place.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
