Teen assaulted and robbed in the Bronx, suspects at large

BRONX, N.Y. — A 15-year-old boy was assaulted and robbed in the Bronx on Friday morning, police said. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 1330 Louis Nine Boulevard.

According to authorities, the teenager was approached from behind by a group of unknown individuals who punched and kicked him before forcibly taking his shoes, backpack, and iPhone. The victim suffered bruising and minor cuts to his face but declined further medical attention at the scene.

The suspects fled the area on foot, and their whereabouts remain unknown. The police are continuing to investigate the incident and are seeking information to identify those involved.
