31-Year-Old Stabbed on 63rd Street Early Friday Morning

PHILADELPHIA — A 31-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Friday morning on the 200 block of North 63rd Street, authorities said. The incident occurred around 5:24 a.m., when the victim was attacked and stabbed once in the abdomen.

Police responded to the scene and transported the man to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 5:57 a.m., according to officials. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered. The scene remains under police control as detectives continue to search for evidence.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
