Suspect Identified in Rockville Stabbings

Rockville, MD – The Rockville City Police Department announced progress in a case involving two stabbings on October 13.

Initial efforts sought public assistance to identify a person of interest, who has since been ruled out as a suspect. Continued investigations, in collaboration with Metro Transit Police, led to identifying 28-year-old Rockville resident Muhammad Ibrahim Adam as the suspect.

Adam has been taken into custody and is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
