Stafford Man Faces Fourth DUI Charge

by Breaking Local News Report

Stafford, VA – A 34-year-old man from Stafford was arrested on Saturday night for his fourth DUI offense following multiple reports of dangerous driving.

Deputies S.A. Edwards and R.W. Stamm responded to Garrisonville Road around 8:10 p.m. after a call about a suspected drunk driver. Reports described a Honda Civic crossing the center line and nearly hitting several vehicles. Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office had already issued a be-on-the-lookout report detailing similar behavior with the same vehicle. The deputies found the car traveling east on Garrisonville Road, swerving and slowing to 15 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, before stopping the vehicle in the area of Garrisonville and Eustace roads.

The driver, identified as Marvin Sorto Guillen, showed signs of intoxication. Guillen admitted to drinking four Coronas, and deputies found a nearly empty bottle of Corona in clear view and two additional bottles in the vehicle. Officers learned Guillen had three previous DUI convictions, two in Stafford County, and that his license had been revoked.
