Boston, MA – On Tuesday, at approximately 8:03 PM, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to reports of a shooting and a Shot Spotter activation at 15 Michigan Ave., Dorchester.
Upon arrival, they found a 45-year-old man identified as Jashaun Smith from Dorchester, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. They urge anyone with information to contact them at 617-343-4470.
