NEW ALBANY, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player is celebrating a $50,000 win after purchasing a Billion scratch-off ticket at Turkey Hill Mini Market #721, located at 9880 Johnstown Road in New Albany.
After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.
Billion is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $1,000,000 a year for 20 years. As of Thursday, three top prizes remain unclaimed, along with thousands of smaller cash prizes.
The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed more than $32 billion to education since 1974, continues to provide exciting scratch-off games for players across the state.
