In Rahway, the Downtown Rahway Holiday Markets are providing two days of festive fun. The event kicked off Friday with the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall Plaza, accompanied by family attractions like bounce houses, face painting, and bumper cars. The festivities continued with a parade and the Shop Rahway Pop-Up Market featuring handcrafted gifts from local artisans. On Saturday, the Cherry Street Market & Pop-Ups will offer additional shopping opportunities, while a sensory-friendly Santa experience at the Rahway Recreation Center will accommodate children with special needs.
Asbury Park is once again hosting its popular Holiday Bazaar, inspired by Germany’s traditional Weihnachtsmarkts. Rated the best holiday market in New Jersey by Food & Wine, the event features handcrafted goods, photos with Santa, holiday music, and festive food and drink. The main bazaar takes place in the Grand Arcade at Convention Hall from Friday through Sunday, with an additional event on Sunday at The Asbury Hotel.
In Clinton, the Winter Village and Festival of Trees is transforming the historic Red Mill Museum Village into a holiday wonderland. In Holmdel, the Bell Works Fresh Holiday Market will feature a curated selection of 75 local artists and makers, bringing together a diverse range of unique gifts.
For those seeking an immersive experience, the Grounds For Sculpture Artisan Holiday Market in Hamilton offers over 40 artisans selling handmade jewelry, pottery, and gourmet treats. Guests can also explore the 42-acre sculpture park, enjoy seasonal food and drinks, and even dine at the award-winning Rat’s Restaurant.
Additional holiday shopping opportunities include the Montclair Flea Holiday Market, featuring vintage and handmade goods, and the Bergenfield High School Holiday Flea Market, where visitors can find stocking stuffers, collectibles, and crafts at affordable prices.
