FORT LEE, N.J. — Hudson Terrace has been closed in both directions from Central Avenue into Edgewater following an emergency water main break, according to the Fort Lee Police Department.

Emergency utility crews and Fort Lee patrol officers are on site working to repair the break and manage traffic in the affected area, authorities said in a statement released Sunday morning.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes as the closure is expected to cause significant delays. No estimate has been provided for when the road will reopen.

The cause of the water main break has not yet been disclosed, and officials are continuing to assess the damage.
