GERMANTOWN, Ohio — A lottery player has claimed a $1 million top prize after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Lady Luck 100X scratch-off ticket, making for a life-changing win in Montgomery County.

The winning ticket was purchased at Midway Marathon, located at 2822 Dayton-Germantown Pike in Germantown. The winner opted for the $500,000 cash option and will take home approximately $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent.

Lady Luck 100X is a $20 scratch-off game with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of December 17, one top prize remains in the game, which has become a popular choice for Ohio Lottery players.

The Ohio Lottery reports that its games continue to provide significant support to public education, contributing over $33 billion to Ohio schools since its inception in 1974.

Midway Marathon will also receive a bonus for selling the top-prize winning ticket.
