Violent Theft in Southeast D.C. Caught on Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A violent theft in Southeast D.C. left an adult male injured after multiple suspects assaulted him while attempting to steal items from a local establishment on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:13 p.m. on February 2 in the Unit block of I Street, Southeast. The suspects attacked the victim before fleeing the scene with stolen property, just moments before officers arrived.

Surveillance cameras captured clear images of the suspects, and the footage is now part of the investigation as efforts to identify and locate them continue.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
