Ambush in D.C. leaves several dead, gunman still at large

WASHINGTON, DC – A shooting in Southeast DC sent three men to the hospital Sunday evening, sparking a police investigation, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers rushed to the 1100 block of K Street around 7:40 p.m. after reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have not made any arrests and are working to identify those involved. Authorities are urging anyone with information to call (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
