Armed intruders steal cash, jewelry in Northeast Philadelphia home invasion

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Four armed men in ski masks stormed a home in Northeast Philadelphia early Saturday, robbing the occupants of tens of thousands of dollars in cash and valuables, police said.

The home invasion occurred around 5:18 a.m. on the 3200 block of Cottman Avenue in the city’s 15th District. The suspects, described as Hispanic males between 20 and 30 years old, held five residents at gunpoint, including a 15-year-old boy, a 25-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man.

The intruders stole $19,000 in cash, $25,000 worth of jewelry, and five iPhones before fleeing in an unknown direction. One suspect was wearing a green coat, while the other three were dressed in black.

No injuries were reported, and Northeast Detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made.
