WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing after she was last seen Wednesday afternoon near the 3600 block of Ely Place SE, and efforts are now focused on ensuring her safe return.
Samiyah Ellis was last seen around 3:15 p.m. on May 7 and was reported missing the following day, May 8. Her family and community members are deeply concerned as the search for the missing child continues.
She is described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with long black and red dreadlocks and brown eyes. Her clothing at the time of her disappearance is unknown.
