WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for three suspects involved in a robbery reported Sunday evening in the 3500 block of Center Street NW, according to a crime alert issued by the Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred around 7:44 p.m. on May 11. Witnesses described three male suspects fleeing toward 14th Street NW following the robbery. One was reportedly armed, though police have not confirmed whether a weapon was used during the crime.
The suspects are described by police as follows:
- Suspect 1: Black male, approximately 6’0”, 22–23 years old, wearing a black hat, black mask, black sweater, black pants, and red shoes.
- Suspect 2: Black male, approximately 6’3”, 26–28 years old, wearing a black mask, black sweater, black pants, and black shoes.
- Suspect 3: Hispanic male, approximately 25–26 years old, with tattoos on his right arm, wearing a black sweater and black pants.
Investigation ongoing as officers canvass Northwest neighborhood
Fourth District officers are actively investigating the robbery and canvassing the area for leads and surveillance footage. No injuries were reported, and police have not disclosed whether property was taken or what may have led to the incident.
