WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man wielding a broken glass bottle threatened two people in a pair of separate incidents outside a Northwest DC business last Tuesday night, prompting a search by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incidents occurred around 9:43 p.m. on May 6 on the 1600 block of 7th Street, Northwest. Police say the suspect first attempted to stab someone inside a local establishment using a broken bottle before exiting the building.

Outside, the man allegedly confronted a second individual who was seated inside a parked vehicle. A physical struggle followed, and the suspect reportedly made further threats before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported from either encounter.
