TRENTON, NJ — A Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold in Ocean County matched all five numbers to win Wednesday night’s $150,000 jackpot, marking the game’s third top prize awarded in a single week.
The winning ticket was purchased at Bay Avenue Farm, located at 93 East Bay Ave. in Manahawkin. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The winning numbers drawn were 05, 19, 20, 27, and 38. The XTRA number was 02 and the Bullseye number was 19. In total, 19 players matched four numbers plus the Bullseye to win $500 each, while another four matched four numbers, the Bullseye, and the XTRA, also winning $500.
This marks the 27th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot awarded so far this year and the second consecutive day with a jackpot winner.
Lottery officials noted a surge in daily prize payouts this week as player interest continues to grow in the state’s popular daily draw game.
