WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two men are dead and another is hospitalized following a triple shooting late Friday night in Southeast D.C., police confirmed.
The incident occurred just after 10:20 p.m. in the 4200 block of 4th Street SE, near Hendley Elementary School. Officers arriving at the scene found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two of the victims were unconscious and not breathing and were pronounced dead on the scene. The third victim was found awake and breathing and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
D.C. police issued an alert shortly after the shooting, stating they are searching for “a black vehicle with tinted windows” in connection with the case.
As of Saturday morning, no arrests have been made and the names of the deceased have not yet been released. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
