Man fatally stabbed in bloody Westfield Avenue brawl

Man dies after late-night stabbing on Westfield Avenue in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning following a physical altercation on Westfield Avenue in the city’s Northeast District, according to investigators.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Westfield Avenue at approximately 2:04 a.m. after receiving a report of an armed person in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered signs of a violent incident but no victim at the scene.

Shortly afterward, the same officers were informed that a man with stab wounds had arrived at a local hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff, the victim was pronounced dead.

Detectives believe the victim was stabbed during a fight at the Westfield Avenue location and then transported by private means to the hospital.

Homicide detectives continue investigation into deadly stabbing

The case remains under active investigation. Detectives are working to determine what led to the altercation and identify any suspects or witnesses.
