Flashing suspect flees Nordstrom Rack at Potomac Mills

Police are searching for a Woodbridge man accused of indecent exposure at a crowded Virginia mall.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities in Prince William County are searching for a man accused of exposing himself inside a Nordstrom Rack store at the Potomac Mills mall last week.

Douglas Boomer, 29, of Woodbridge, is wanted for indecent exposure following an incident that took place the afternoon of May 29. Police said Boomer allegedly exposed himself inside the store before being confronted by an employee.

Boomer left the store after the confrontation, and officers responded shortly afterward to investigate the report.

A warrant for Boomer’s arrest was issued on June 1. Since then, efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful, and police are now asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Investigators have not released surveillance images or further details about the incident. No injuries or physical altercations were reported.

Authorities urge public to assist with location

Anyone with information about Boomer’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Prince William County Police Department at 703-792-7000. Officials did not indicate whether Boomer has any prior criminal record.

The Nordstrom Rack location remains open, and mall security has been notified of the ongoing investigation.
