Lost dog found in Voorhees Alluvium neighborhood, now at police HQ

The Voorhees Police Department is holding the dog while waiting for the owner to come forward.

VOORHEES, N.J. — The Voorhees Police Department announced Monday that a black, curly-haired dog without tags was found roaming Bradford Way in the Alluvium development earlier in the day.

The dog, described as friendly, was taken to police headquarters at 1180 White Horse Road. Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the animal or knows its owner to contact the department’s non-emergency line at 856-428-5400.

The dog was discovered by officers while “frolicking” in the neighborhood, according to the department’s social media post. No injuries or signs of distress were reported.
