QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are searching for six individuals who allegedly assaulted and robbed a man on a Flushing street last month, leaving him with facial injuries.
The incident occurred on Thursday, May 22, at approximately 5:50 p.m. near 143-46 37th Avenue. According to police, a 27-year-old man was walking in the area when two unknown males approached him from behind and began punching him multiple times in the face, head, and right eye, causing him to fall to the ground.
Four additional male suspects then joined in, striking the victim with an umbrella, including a blow to the right eye, police said. The group then forcibly took the victim’s wallet, which contained approximately $100 and a credit card.



Victim hospitalized
The victim managed to flee the scene and transported himself to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
All six suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
