by Local News Report

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 23-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting deaths of two males, including a juvenile, during a late-night triple shooting last month in Southeast.

On Friday, May 23, at approximately 10:19 p.m., emergency responders arrived on the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast, where three males had been shot in the roadway. Two of the victims — 16-year-old Royell Walker and 19-year-old Jamar Jackson, both of Southeast — were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim, a 14-year-old male, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Following an investigation by the MPD’s Major Case Squad, 23-year-old Sean McFadden of Southeast was arrested on Wednesday and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated), pursuant to a DC Superior Court warrant.

Investigators have not released details about a possible motive or whether additional suspects are being sought in connection to the incident.
